Our Graduate Training Programme
The Training Programme is designed for applicants with little or no experience of interdealer broking, who are looking for an entry-level position in this exciting area of Financial Services.
This is a 10 month intensive rotational programme comprising of a mixture of hands-on training and formal tuition. The programme is designed to give you an insight into the day-to-day reality of interdealer broking You may secure a role within the business at the end of the graduate programme dependent on performance and the successful completion of an examination.
Graduate Training Course structure
The course structure for successful applicants will be as follows:
Induction - you will attend an off-site that will provide an overview of how Tradition works and the sort of systems we use.
Rotational placements - you will rotate around the following desks, which will give you the opportunity to gain real hands on experience in a live trading environment.

- Sterling
- Dollars
- European Government Bonds
- Emerging Markets
Professional Training Programme - you will participate in a specially tailored training programme, where you will gain invaluable theoretical knowledge which you can then put into practice on the trading floor.

Application Procedure
Successful applicants may be required to sit an online psychometric test to assess verbal and numeric reasoning.
If you have been selected to go through to the next stage of your application, you will be invited to meet with us at our City offices where you will have the opportunity to see the heart of our business - the trading floor.
